At Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete UK we offer a competitive employment package which includes an option for final salary pension scheme. Apprenticeships
We recruit 10 modern apprentices every year. The training programme gives the trainees the opportunity to develop their skills within a number of different roles within the company's production activities.
Running for two years, trainees will complete a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship to NVQ level II in a related subject on paid day release at a local college and on completion are offered the opportunity to apply for a permanent position.
Trainees are expected to get involved in wide range of duties from operating mobile plant machinery (18+) to manufacturing ready-mixed concrete and asphalt.

NVQs
Lafarge is committed to training employees based on sites to the equivalent of an NVQ Level 2 qualification. We offer NVQ qualifications in the operation of health and safety, mobile plant, fixed plant, technical, road building and driving roles.
